on March 23, 2017 at 3:49 amHi Keith, The most definitive symptom is it smoked when the fire was dying down. That means there is likely to be negative pressure in the room. With an active fire, the force of the hotter air rising defeats the negative pressure, but when the fire dies down the heat is so little the air flow reverses. The blowing could be wind adding smoke at opportune times.
