3 Ways to Make Mowing Fun Again
Posted July 23, 2014 by T A 4 CommentsHas mowing the lawn become just an inconvenient chore you dread every week or so?
Remember when it used to be fun? Or maybe it was only worth it as a kid when the neighbor would hand over a crisp $5 bill for an hour’s work.
Well here are three ways you can get a kick out of mowing, so it’s always something to look forward to every time you step out on the lawn.
1.) Set Your Own Lawn Speed Record – Time Yourself
It’s a race against time! See how fast you can mow your lawn (safely), then try to beat it every time.
*Rule: Add 10 seconds for every patch of grass you miss.
2.) Lawn Art – Create Your Backyard Masterpiece
If straight rows are becoming way too boring, try mowing a unique pattern in your grass with a lawn striping kit. Smiley faces are extra credit.
*Recommendation: Draw the pattern on a sheet of paper first, before you start to mow.
3.) Epic Modifications – Pimp Your Mower
Whether it’s a custom paint job, wheel spinners, or flame thrower exhaust (not recommended), you could customize your mower and ride in style.

on July 25, 2014 at 5:24 pmI try to mow in different pattern every time I mow. Thats the way I was told to do, when learning many moons ago. To me speed is not the goal, the looks is what I try achieve. With about 4 A, and an older 42″ mower, I say { enjoy the view }!!
